Donald M. Gorsuch - Vice President – Senior Lifestyle

Mr. Gorsuch helps shape the vision, lifestyle and market position for all MacKenzie House senior living communities. He also participates in the sales and market outreach activities for the Senior Living Group. Don is one of the premier marketers of Senior Housing in the Rocky Mountain Region, and he has been working in the senior housing industry for over 20 years. He has worked in all aspects of development, construction, marketing and start-up operations of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities in North Carolina, Washington, and Colorado.

Prior to joining MacKenzie House, Don was Vice President of Concord Management Company, responsible for the marketing and lifestyle programs at Concordia on the Lake, a 195-unit active adult community in Littleton, Colorado. He has previously been a marketing consultant for Life Care Services in Issaquah, Washington and managed the development and marketing of a 435 residence CCRC in three phases totaling $65,000,000 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Don is a Certified Senior Advisor and founding member of the Active Living Council for the Home Builders Association of Denver, Colorado. He was recently published in the NAHB Senior Housing News, Winter 2005 edition, Thinking Inside the Box: A Creative Approach to Project Entitlement.

Don earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from South Dakota State University, a Master of Science in Family Relations from Northern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration in Accounting from Regis University. A Colorado resident since 1979, Don lives in Denver.
