MACKENZIE PLACE DEER
CREEK
MIXED-USE
SENIOR CAMPUS
St. Louis, Missouri - Opening 2010
Along the high-traffic Hanley Road corridor and bordered by the towns
of Clayton, Webster Grove and Kirkwood, a joint venture of MacKenzie
House and Summit Development Group is redeveloping the western 12 acres
of the Deer Creek Shopping Center into a 294-residence continuing care
senior campus. The in-town character and mixed-use nature of
the project continues the successful campus concept proven in MacKenzie
Place senior communities throughout Colorado. The campus will
consist of two six-story buildings that will include condominiums,
Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments. Additionally,
this campus will include covered parking and retail on the ground level.
The resort-hotel service model provides a broad spectrum of services
and amenities as well as a mixture of for-sale, entry fee, and rental
options. We expect the MacKenzie Place concept to be well-received
in the dynamic St. Louis senior market.
