| Matthew T. Turner - Vice President of Project & Corporate Finance
Mr. Turner is responsible for managing many financial aspects of the Company on both a corporate and project level including feasibility analysis for new opportunities, financing of existing projects, corporate strategy and capital raising, asset management and investor relations.
Before joining MacKenzie House, Matt was the Senior Analyst in the Acquisitions and Due Diligence group for DCT Industrial Trust (f/k/a Dividend Capital Trust), a Denver, Colorado-based REIT, where he was responsible for all aspects of valuation and analysis for over $2 billion of commercial real estate investments. He also managed the due diligence and closing of over 20 transactions totaling approximately $400 million. Prior to that role, Matt was a Financial Analyst for Dividend Capital Group. In this capacity, he was accountable for all corporate budgeting and forecasting and was involved in various treasury functions, including debt procurement/syndication. Before joining Dividend Capital, he was a Senior Consultant for Deloitte and Touche, focusing on tax strategy and compliance for corporate clients. He began his career with Arthur Andersen as a tax associate.
Matt is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and received a
Bachelor of Science degree with majors in accounting and business
management from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He also
completed coursework in the Masters of Accounting program at the
University of Hawaii School Of Business. A native of Georgia, he
has been a resident of Denver for six years.
