John F. Schieving - Vice President

Mr.Schieving is responsible for the pre-construction phase of the Company’s development projects. He focuses on managing the design team and general contractor to maintain MacKenzie House’s concept, design, and budget throughout the pre-construction phase and into construction.

John brings a unique mix of skills and experience. In his 37 years in the construction business, he has spent 12 years as a construction crane operator and six years as a licensed commercial electrician. He was a Project Manager and Financial Controller for the Denver division of a large national electrical contractor and spent the last six years as a Lead Estimator for a large general contractor.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver, passed the CPA exam, and provided auditing and tax services for several large construction specific CPA firms. John is a Colorado native and lives in Denver with his wife, Teri, and their two children.
