James G. Huffines - Vice President

Mr. Huffines focuses on pre-marketing and sales facilitation of For-Sale communities. In addition to establishing our Sales/Marketing Centers, he also is responsible for model home construction and selecting standard product finishes and upgrades. While negotiating with suppliers and vendors, Jay works to ensure quality in all aspects of MacKenzie House products. He is also responsible for achieving discounts based on bulk purchasing.

With almost 40 years of construction experience, Jay brings a great deal of expertise to the MacKenzie House team. His background includes positions working on the startup of communities for several national home builders. He has also worked for an organization that specializes in kitchen remodeling. Jay has also participated extensively on the startup of multiple 55+ communities.

Jay is the proud father of two daughters and one granddaughter. He and his wife, MaryAnn, have lived in Fort Collins for fifteen years.
